Wikipedia - How To Get Thousands Of Free Quality Visitors Each Month

I beleive a great and yet most often overlooked way of getting tons of unique visitors to your website is by using the free encyclopedia of Wikipedia, where everyone is allowed to contribute!

Let's take a look at why Wikipedia is so special:

- over 10 million articles in 253 different languages
- over 6 million registered users
- 130 million unique visitors each month
- Alexa traffic rank of 8
- PR rank of 9

According to googlecache.com, 96.6% of Wikipedia pages rank in Googles top 10. That's ridiculously high!

So how can you contribute to Wikipedia and join the fruits of it's limitless traffic?

Well, on the bottom page of most Wikipedia articles there is something called external links. Here's what you need to do:

1) Go to the Wikipedia home page.

2) On the left side of the page, there is a search form. Enter a keyword or phrase from your niche.

Lets pretend your keywords are chocolate cake. Typing in these keywords would lead you to the following page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chocolate_cake

3) Scroll down to the bottom of the page until you see the following two headlines:

a) External Links: This is where you will place your link.

b) See Also: This is where you can find related articles in your niche for the keyword you entered. It is a great tool to help you find pages to place your external links.

In the case of chocolate cake, there are no external links on the bottom of the page. But there are, under "see also," related pages to chocolate cake. If I click on Molten Chocolate Cake and scroll down to the bottom of the page, I see four external links. Now we come to the fun part. Here's how to add your links:

1) Assuming that you have written a quality article under your niche topic, and one that is "wikipedia optimized," click the "edit" button on the right side of "external links."

2) Use the following code to add your link:
*[Your Link Anchor Text] Link Description]

3) Click the "save page" button below.

Congrats! You've successfully learned how to add your link to Wikipedia.

Google Adwords Keyword Tool - How To Use It To Create Posts Titles And Choose Blog Topics

Those of whom are earning a living from their blogs know that finding blog topics and titles requires research.

When choosing a blog post title or topic, it is important you take in consideration your reader's desired topics. You need to find out which keywords are being searched for in the search engines.

Using the highest keyword search terms will help people find your blog on search engines and will bring a mass amount of traffic to your site.

Here's 2 ways on how to find the highest keyword search terms with the Google Adwords Keyword Tool.

Finding The Highest Keyword Search Terms

1) Go to the Adwords Keyword Tool.

2) Under Enter one keyword or phrase per line, type in your general keyword(without being too specific) - ex. chocolate mousse, cd player, nike shoes.

3) Hit the Get Keyword Ideas Button.

4) Wait patiently for results.

5) Observe the four columns.

a) keywords: Use the keyword list to find which terms to include in your blog post titles and choose topics accordingly.

b) Advertiser Competition: The more advertiser competition, the harder it will be to get good pagerank results. Try to choose keywords that have little or no advertiser competition if possible.

c) Approx. Search Volume: Use these estimates to determine how many people search for that keyword each month. The higher the search volume, the more traffic you can get from that keyword.

d) Approx. Avg Search Volume: Another estimate of the average search volume for every month. The higher this number, the better.

Another cool way to generate keyword ideas with the Adwords Keyword tool is by using its Website Content. Here's how:

1) Go to the Adword's Keyword Tool.

2) On the left side of the page, under How would you like to generate keyword ideas? click the website content bullet point.

3) Enter your website url under Enter a webpage Url to find keywords related to the content of the page.

a) You can include other pages on your site linked from your url by clicking the check box below it.

4) Hit Get Keyword Ideas and let the tool do its magic!

5) What other tools can you think of to get keyword ideas?

10 Effective Ways To Gain Subscribers

1) Prominence - Let it be easy to suscribe. Place your subscriptions "above the fold"(viewable portion of page upon landing). I place my subscription at the upper right hand corner of my site. That way, my visitors can't miss it. Also, place a subscription link at the end of each post. This will remind and make easy for people to suscribe.

2) Focus - Stick to a particular topic. If you don't, you will lose track of suscriber trends and a good prospective of how man potential suscribers there are in your niche. Focus will give you the capability to determine where your blog is going and how fast.

3) Ask For Suscribers (Be Subtle With It) - You won't get what you don't ask for will you? This may seem like a crazy idea, but it works. At the end of each of your posts, leave a brief message requesting your visitors to suscribe. Do it in any way you like. Here are some examples:

- "By the way, have you suscribed yet?"
- "You actually like this stuff? Suscribe Here."
- "You really like me?! Suscribe Here."

4) Participate In Forums - Help others in forums. People will be inclined to visit your blog to see what you can offer them. Give your best advice in the most polite manner. You will trigger people's curiosity, and in turn, they will visit your site. How many times do you get a comment on your site only to be struck by curiosity? What do you do? Visit your fellow blogger's page.

5) Guest Post - If your content is really amazing, contribute your posts to a related blog in your niche. Don't forget to request an inbound link to your site in return. This is a great way to increase your blog's exposure.

6) Exchange Links - Trade links with sites that will result in targeted traffic to your site. Find a site in your niche and build a relationship with that blog owner. When the time is right, suggest trading links. Don't go barging in the comment section your first visit and spamming them with link requests! You wouldn't trade clothes with a person you just met now would you? People will respond nicely to good will, so that's what you should show them. Start slow, and work your way up.

7) Use Buttons - Use RSS image button subscriptions to catch your reader's attention. For those who don't know, RSS is a way of suscribing to a blog. Get RSS Buttons just like mine HERE.

8) Inform - Write a post about RSS feeds to inform your readers what they are and how they can help.

9) Offer - Give your reader's an incentive to suscribe. For example, offer suscribers a free e-book or a chance to win a prize of some sort.

10) Ad Campaigns - Another great way to promote your blog is with PPC programs such as Google Adwords. Run ads for your blog and try to convert visitors into suscribers. Experiment with different keywords to find which ones convert the best.

11) Any more ideas? I want to hear em'. Comment Below.

12) By the way, have you suscribed yet?

6 Ways To Make Bloggers Like You And Build Good Relationships

1) Interest - Go visit their blog. Show them you have an interest in them. Leave a nice comment and politely ask them to visit your site. "Nice blog you got here! Hope you can take some time to check my site out!"

2) Smileys - Use :D faces. You will come off as a friendly and inviting person.

3) Name - A person likes to hear the sound of his/her name. Nobody wants to be asked "what's your name again?" Call bloggers by their name to make them feel special and unique.

4) Reply - Always reply to emails and comments. Show your fellow bloggers concern. Always end in "Feel free to forward any further questions you may have anytime." Building a relationship with your visitors will have them returning on a daily basis.

5) Stay On Topic - Talk about what interests him/her. Don't go ranting on about your favorite, not to mention irrelevant, topics.

6) Importance - Make your bloggers feel important to you in any way you can. Treat each one like the most important.

7) Anything else you want to add? I would love to hear your suggestions.

Massive Traffic With Hubpages

Do you ever ask yourself where you can get the most return from your articles? After wasting a lot of effort submitting to article directories that weren't fruitful, I recently have discovered Hubpages, another place to submit your content. One days length of time after submission, I realized Hubpages wasn't just an ordinary article directory.

Articles submitted to Hubpages are widely read due to their large and active community. This means that you can get tons of potential quality visitors to your website.

How Hubpages Was Different:

1) Traffic - Hubpages generated more traffic for me than any other article directory -

2) Visitors - Hubpages gets more than 1.6 million visitors each month!

3) Time Length- Hubpages generated traffic for me in less than a 24hr time period. I noticed that I was getting more traffic than my search engine refferels in just 2 days!

4) Top 10 Google Page Rank - After a couple of days I noticed that my title Top Rank On Google Search Engine beat 6,010,000 search results TO THE FRONT PAGE! Type in "top rank on google" and you will find my link #9 in rank. This is after only 2-3 days. I am hoping it will go higher up the list!

My Hubpages Stats:

Title 1: Top Rank On Google Search Engine
Page Views: 22

- I had 22 pageviews in less than 2 days time. Imagine how much potential visitors I will get in a couple of months!

Title #2: How To Create A Successful Blog
Page Views: 9

- Although there's not as much page views on this submission, over time, it will increase vastly. Plus, this was in less than 2 days!

Each submission is a great investment towards hundres or even thousands of quality visitors to your blog. Try Hubpages out for youself and see the results! Your traffic will increase immensly!

Google Adwords And 2 Ways It Determines Pagerank

If I used any PPC program it would be Google. "Why?" you ask. First lets get into what Google Adwords is. Adwords is a Google owned pay per click program. It is simple to use. You sign up for an account, create ads for anything your promoting(whether it be your website or referrel products), and pay Google everytime someone clicks on your ad. I like using the Google Adsense program because it's really flexible, easy to use, and user friendly(not to mention money friendly!). With Google Adwords, you choose keywords to trigger your ads. You also choose how much you pay Google when a person clicks your ad. Don't count on paying only a penny for each click! Remember, you are competing for Google Page ranks with possibly hundreds of other competitors. The rank of your ad is based on the following two things.

1) The Quality Of You Ads - If the landing page of your ad is relevant to your site, you are most likely to get a good quality score. Google notes how long a vsitior stays at your site upon landing. It uses this data to determine the quality of your ads. The more relavant your ad to your site's landing page, the longer your visitor will stay on your landing page, and the better your quality score will be.

2) Bid Price - Bid price also determines your PR. Google looks at your the bid for each keyword. Bid price can be referred to as CPC. CPC stands for cost per click. It is what you pay everytime a person clicks your ad. Keep in mind that the better your quality score, the less cpc(cost per click) you pay in order to get a high PR(page rank) on Google. In other words, if you have a better quality score then your competitors, you can bid less for the same keywords and stilll have a better ranking.

Google is a great PPC program. You can easily pause your campaigns anytime! This means you can stop paying Google anytime you want! If you are not getting any sales, simply highlight your campaign and click pause. It's that fast! You can easily add and delete keywords and decide how much you pay for each individual keyword. I love the flexibility of Google and would recommend Adwords as a great PPC program. I've had experiences with scamming sites that take your money and don't keep their word! On the other hand, you can always trust Google!

2 Useful Tips Before Article Submission

Although a great way to get targeted traffic to your website is through article submission, if you do not do it "right" your submission will not be as fruitful. There are a couple of points you should be aware of to get the most return from your article submissions.

1) Keyword Terms - You may like fancy titles to your liking, but if you choose low search keyword terms, than you will not get as much traffic as high searched keword terms(sounds pretty simple doesn't it?). Use keywords that are popular for your title posts. This will lead to more search engine referrels(depending on how high your PR). The higher the the keyword search, the more people who search for those keywords, the more people who will find your link for that keyword in the search engines, and the more of an increase in visitors to your website.

2) Top Directories Only - Find a list of top article directories and only submit to them. The higher the pagerank of a directory, the more traffic you will get for each post. Don't waste your time submitting to random article directories that receive no traffic and have poor page rank. Submit to the top directories only. If you are unsure about a directory, see if its on this top directory list:

5 Tips For New Bloggers

It can't hurt for every blogger to have some inspiration from time to time right? Today, I came across some "quotable quotes," (as it says in Reader's Digest). I could almost relate each quote as vital to the journey of blogging. Here are the quotes:

Quote #1: " A critic is someone who knows the way but can't drive the car." (Theater Critic Kenneth Tynan in the New York Times Magazine).

Critics are great for feedback, especially for blogs. Whether you receive good, bad, or harsh comments, you can always bring a lesson along. I myself had a rude "critic" comment on one of my sites. I took it as a good point and used it to my advantage; thus improving my website. I've also learned to go on other related websites and take peak at the comment section. Other people's questions and comments are great for determining what people want to know and are great topics for your blog. Observing comments is a great way to determine how to change your site to fit visitors' needs.

Quote #2: "You can never really learn from hearing yourself talk." (George Clooney In Entertainment Weekly).

This quote holds true for everyone. If your a blogger, keep reading new content from other famous authors and blogs. It will increase your knowledge and improve your writing skills. The more you read and write, the better of a writer you will become.

Quote #3: "Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invents the airplane and the pessimist the parachute." (Gil Stern).

You can tie that quote in with blogging however you may like. I personally believe it's better to be optimistic. How far would you get in the path of success if you thought "I only made 50 cents today" as opposed to "even though I made only 50 cents today, my blog can earn money for me my whole life." This is just an example of a "good" blogging mindset. Think positive with everything concerning your blog; it may be for the better.

Quote #4 "The problem with beauty is like being born rich, and getting poorer." (Joan Colins).

This is exactly the opposite for blogging. Every blog starts out "poor" and from there, it either stays poor or gets richer. But never does it get worse than it started. Think of each post, each thought, each implementation, and each propagation as an investment towards your blog. No matter how poor your blog, everything you do can only make it better( as long as you do it right!). Have hope for your blog. You can keep making it richer till it hits the jackpot!

Quote #5: "In order to be big, you have to think BIG. If you think you're small, you're going to be small." (Emeril Lagasse in Cigar Aficionado).

I especially like this quote. It starts with dreams and if you don't have hope, how will you put great effort in the path of your blog? The more high hopes and goals for your blog, the more you will achieve. If you can't even imagine good for your blog, how can you get it there! Think big for your blogger and it will get bigger.

4 Title Techniques To Grab Your Readers Attention

Think about this. The first piece of writing that your visitors will read is your title. If you can't perfect your blog post titles, you can't grab your readers into reading your posts. I have been reading some posts on article titles recently and consider it a very important aspect of blogging. If you can't grab your readers to read your post, then what good is the post? Use the following title techniques to help you get your readers hooked to your content.

1) Use Lists - I have heard from several bloggers that lists work great! I've seen many lists on the front page of Digg. Check my title out! 4 Title Techniques To Grab Your Visitors Attention. Didn't that work great? You tell me.

2) How To's - How To's also work great. A post on digg, (How You Can "Save" PC Gaming) got on front page with 88 comments in 34 minutes!!!

3) Statistical Data - 9 out of 10 blogs.....you get the point. On Digg, as of on Thursday August 28, 2008, 9:40 p.m, the post "Man Heats 4,000 Sq. Ft Home for Just $2.50 Per Day" is on the front page and got 452 "diggs" or votes for his post in 54 minutes! "Linux Jumps To 13.4 Percent Of The Stalling Server Market" is also on the front page with 401 "diggs" in about 2 hours! That's crazy isn't it! What do they have in common? Statistical data which attracted reader's attention.

4) Controversial Topics - On the front page of Digg, 2 of the top 15 posts are political concerning the topic of the upcoming U.S elections. One about Obama and the other Mccain. Controversial topics are another great idea for a blog post title. Lots of people get involved! I've heard this technique mentioned by a very successful blogger and also on Digg.

5 Golden Tips For A New Blog

You've recently created a blog and ask yourself....."Now What?" You've worked on it here and there and don't know what to do next? Follow these tips to make the best of your blog and be ahead of the game.

1) Submit Your URL - When you create a new blog, you should remember to submit your url to search engines like Google. Submitting your url to search engines is free, but for a site like Google, you are not guaranteed your url to be indexed nor the knowledge of what time or if it will appear. Submitting your site to search engines is important in getting the word out for your blog. Once you've submitted your site to the search engines, you should exchange links next. Submit your Url to Google now, click here.

2) Exchange Links - Exchanging links with other blogs and websites can increase your PR(page rank). Page rank is simply a numerical value. It is like casting a vote. Each link to your site is a "vote" telling Google that your site is important. When you link, be careful which sites you choose! Find sites that have a similar topic and related keywords. Google notices similarity between blogs with inbound links to your site (and that matters a lot to Google in terms of getting a higher page rank). Choose sites with a high page rank and link to them. This will increase your own page rank. If you want to learn more about pagerank and how it's calculated go to Webworkshop.net.

3) Content - Create content! Quality content! Consistently! If you follow these three rules your content will grab your visitors to stay and return!

4) Promote And Observe - Participate on forums! Visit related blogs and comment leaving your url behind. Leave your link all around the web to get quality visitors to your website. Analyze your visitor to suscriber ratio. Ask yourself: "Am I making an impression on my visitors?" Look at the comment section of your blog and use feedback to make changes to your site. Keep asking yourself "Am I grabbing my reader's attention? How can I improve my site?" And "What do my readers want to know?" Visit popular blog sites related to your topic. Choose similar topics to their posts. See which topics are the most popular. Try and follow in the pro's footsteps.

5) KISS - Every heard of the acronym K.I.S.S? K.I.S.S stands for keep it simple stupid. You want your pages to be as simple as possible. Don't run google adsense ads all over your site the very first day! Correct me if I'm wrong, but nobody wants to see more ads than content on your blog. Remember that people don't visit your site to see or click your ads. They come for the limiteless knowledge you can provide for them! If that knowledge is good, they will love your site! It always comes down to content. Make your site organized and neat. Don't make it look spammy! In these days, you can tell who a person is by looking at him/her(in some cases; emo, gangster, etc.). Look like a professional and you will be a professional(and people will think better of your blog!). Neatness and organization is very important(so always keep that in mind).

These are five essential tips in starting a successful blog. What other suggestions do you have on creating a successful blog? I'd love to hear them. I hope you enjoyed this post. Have a great day!

4 Tips For A Successful Blog

I have four promising tips for all bloggers to create a successful blog. I myself being a blogger, learned from my previous mistakes. I would like to share with you four tips that I wish I not only knew, but implemented with my first blog.

4 TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL BLOG:

1) Find Your Passion - My first blog in blogger was not much of a success. I had about 70 posts and only 1 suscriber. Why was this? Was the quality of my content that horrible? The problem was that I wasn't writing unique quality content. I had no enthusiasm for my writing. I did not write to inform. I made my intention to write for money, my biggest mistake(and a mistake I beleive made by many new bloggers). I knew that I needed to write about what I loved most. I needed to find my passion; the first step towards a successful blog. And trust me, from my experience, writing about something your passionate about is a key to your blogging success. I put up more than 70 articles on my old site and got about 1 suscriber while I put up 4 articles on this site and got 7 suscribers in 2 days. I love to give people advice on how to blog(my greatest passion!).

2) Choose Your Topic Wisely - The second tip for a successful blog is to write under a niche market. In other words, write about a topic that already has "customers" waiting. Pick a topic that people would like to learn about. How many people do you think would want to particicpate in a blog about sucking worms form the mud rather than about sports? Make a list of your passions and decide which one is the best in order for you to gain a large fan base.

3) Consistency - Always keep your blog with updated, fresh, content. I have heard this from several bloggers and beleive it's a great idea (especially for returning visitors). You don't want to lose people's interest in your site! Show everyone that you are consistent and serious about your blog.

4) Market Your Blog - Tell the world about your blog. There are tons of way you can get the word out about your website, such as the ones on my site. Check some out and be consistent in your actions to get traffic to your website.

I hope this gave you some insight on how to start your successful blogging journey!

Why A Burned Blog Is Better Than A "Non-Burned" Blog

What comes to mind when you hear of a blog being burned? And if your thinking in the literal sense, your wrong(concerning what I'm talking about). It would be horrible if my computer exploded and my blog was "burned"(can I even call it burned if my computer exploded?). How can a blog burn? Blah! Anyway, lets get to the point. Here's what I mean by a burned blog and that is FEEDBURNER! FEEDBURNER!!! FEEEEDBURRRNERR!!!!!!

When you burn a feed you create a url(called your feed url) containing all your content. Burning your feed in Feedburner is a way of distributing content to people outside just browsing visitors! The main point is, Feedburner has many widgets and gadgets that you can apply to your blog. Check out the benefits you can have with feedburner as opposed to ignoring its existence.

Pingshot - Feedburner gives you the option to automatically notify specific services every time you publish a new post. You don't have to do anything in addition to publishing a post! Wan't to hear that again? I don't think so. Oh, well. You don't have to do anything in addition to publishing a post! Feedburner notifies the following services: Technorati, My Yahoo, Bloglines, Newsgator, Google Blog Search Pinging Service(optional), Ping-o-matic(optional), plus 5 additional(and optional) services including Syndic, Feedblitz, Moreover, Alexa, Blog Buzz machine, Blogdigger, and several others.

Email Subscriptions - With Feedburner, you can place an email subscription box on your website just like mine! Whenever you post, your oh so loving fan base will be notified through email that you have posted new content. Email subscriptions is a good way to keep your suscribers returning often and to avoid them from forgetting about your blog.

Analyze - You can analyze how many active suscribers are visiting your blog each individual day, live hits, and more!

Feedcount - Want to show off your 199K suscribers? You can with Feedburner's feedcount. Place an html code on your website and people can see how many active readers you have each day. A high feedcount is a good way to impress new visitors. And I do know a blog with 199K suscribers in case your wondering.

Feed Flare - You can put interactivity into each of your posts. Feedburner gives your visitors the options to email, tag, or post your content around the net.

Headline Animator - Do you like my white headline animator at the top? You can get one too with Feedburner. You can choose your own colors and put it up within minutes.

Chicklet Chooser - You can promote your feed by putting feed subscriptions icons on your site.

With Feedburner you can do all of the above plus much much more. A "Feedburned" blog is much better than an average blog(as you can see here). So don't be afraid to give it a try. It's easy once you get used to it. I myself am really glad I burned my feed. At first, I had no idea what Feedburner was or did. My curiosity led me to submit my url and it turned out for the better.

Go to Feedburner.com and type in your URL under Start FeedBurning Now. Type your feed or blog URL below. After that, you can figure it out yourself. Good luck with Feedburner everyone. I hope you enjoyed this post.

Tons Of Traffic With A Single Comment!

First one to comment is the lucky winner. Being the first one to comment may be more important than you think! A practice of mine when I leave comments is to always leave the link to my website. If I don't, I'm losing potential suscribers! Recently, I read an article on another effective way to get tons of traffic with only a single comment! There are tons of popular blogs on blogger that get an incredible amount of traffic on a day to day basis. What do you think would happen if you were the first one to leave a comment on there website? You would increase your traffic instantly. Your comment will be there for thousands to view (depending on how popular the blog).

Do you know any popular blogs in your niche? If not, then go find some! Try to find a site with at least similar content to your blog so that you may have a chance to find potential suscribers. The more closely related your blog, the more of a chance you have to turn those visitors into suscribers. When you see the first post, strike like a wildcat! Leave your comment first along with your link!

Pingomatic - Free Traffic From A Push Of A Button

A fast and easy technique I use to increase visitors to my website is from “pinging.” Pinging is used to notify different services that you’ve updated your blog. It takes less than a minute to ping! Just go to pingomatic.com. Type in your website address and feed url(which is optional). Check the services you want to ping and click send pings. It that’s simple! Oh, and don’t try pinging more than once at the same time. Multiple pings are not allowed and they won’t work. Only ping when you post a new item. That’s pretty much all that needs to be covered with pingomatic. It’s a very easy process. I hope you learned something new today.

Easy Traffic With TS25

An easy way I used to get traffic to my website within the last few days was through the traffic exchange site, TS25.com. At TS25.com, you are rewarded for your efforts. The more credits you earn, the more targeted traffic you get. To earn credits, all you have to do is go “surfing.” Surfing is when you view a page for a certain amount of time. After about 15 seconds, a box appears at the upper left hand corner of the page. A number appears in it along with three or four other ones. You must match the two similar numbers to get a credit. When you click the matching number, you arrive to your next “surf” page. So you get one credit for every page you view. If you surf long enough, you may get extra bonus credits at random without doing anything in addition. I once got up to 50 points in extra bonus credits while surfing. After you earn your credits, you can convert every 5 for one visitor to your site. If you’re looking for a free, quick, and easy way of getting traffic, I would recommend checking out TS25.com.

How To Get Targeted Ads And Its Importance

Targeting your ads is very important when it comes to increasing your ctr. If you run a blog about chocolate, you want ads about chocolate. If you run a blog about cars, you want ads about cars. You want ads that attract your targeted audience. Visitors who come to your site about chocolate are not interested in ads about vegetables. If this were your case, you would kill your ctr. One effective technique that I use to get targeted ads is section targeting. This technique is very simple.

1) Go to a blog post and click edit

2) Locate keywords with which you want to target your ads

3) Paste the following code before the keyword:

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->

4) Paste the following code after the keyword:

<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

You do not have to paste these codes directly around a keyword. You can paste them to include sections of your content or even paragraphs.

If you would like part of an included section to be ignored type the beginning code as follows:

<!-- google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) -->

In other words(or should I say codes), it should look like this:

<!-- google_ad_section_start(keyword to ignore here=ignore) -->

Don’t get frustrated if it takes awhile for changes to appear. Google says it can take up to 2 weeks before any crawlers notice a change to your site. It may help to hit the refresh button on your browser a few times. My ads once changed within minutes of implementing these codes!

Tips To Writing Quality Content

Writing quality content, as explained in my previous post, is very important to earn a decent living with your blog. Through personal experience and other articles I have read, I have gained knowledge on how to write quality content. Here are some tips:

1) Passion: When it comes to quality content, it is important that you write about something you’re passionate about! What can you talk about for hours and hours? Writing for money, is never a good idea. When you write for money, you lack motivation. You will struggle to think of topics. When you are passionate about something, it is much easier to write. You feel the urge to increase your knowledge and inform readers of what you’ve learned on a day-to-day basis. You can share your personal experiences and relate to your audience. Writing for passion will keep you going for days while writing for money will exhaust you after two days.

2) Inform – Remember, you are writing to inform, not impress! Rather than trying to sound professional (and confusing!) leave out unnecessary big words that are hard to understand. Write like how you would talk to someone (without the grammatical errors of course). Just don’t be too wordy. Your audience is reading to be informed, not impressed (by your high vocabulary!).

3) Concise – Stay concise. If you have any unnecessary words, take them out. Try to keep your sentences as short as possible. Read your work out loud and see if it’s easy to read and understand. The more clear and concise you are, the easier it will be to understand your message.

4) At ThinkSimpleNow.com there is an excellent post on bringing clarity into writing by Jesse Hines. The fourth step to writing good content is to read this article! Click Here to read.

The Importance Of Quality Content And Its Benefits

In the blogging world, content is king. Creating quality content for your blog is very important. Here are some of the benefits of creating quality content:

1) Returning Viewers – If your audience likes what you write, they will most likely return.

2) More Subscribers – The more people that like your content, the more subscribers you will get. Subscribers can impact new visitors through feedcounts, comments, etc. Noting the popularity of your blog, new visitors may be enticed to “get into” your blog!

3) Increase In Adsense Earnings – If the quality of your content is good, your traffic will increase from subscribers and other daily viewers. The more traffic, the more potential clicks for your ads.

4) Sponsorship Opportunities – With a large number of subscribers and viewers, you open up sponsorship opportunities for yourself. BloggingSponsorships.com is a great place where you can submit your site for sponsorships and earn a stable income rather than relying wholly on adsense.

Hope you got a sense of what quality content can do for you. I hope to have my next post topic on tips to creating quality content (so you can get ahead of everyone else!). So stay tuned to my blog and have an excellent day!

Best Adsense Ad Placements

The best spot to place your ads is called above the fold. Above the fold is the viewable portion of your website upon landing. It is what you already see without having to scroll down. Researchers found that people view website pages from left to right. This means that viewers are likely to view everything “above the fold.” The more ads “above the fold”, the higher your ctr is likely to be. Another hot spot for an ad placement is the left sidebar of your blog and within the left side of your content. A place that also works great is right under your website title. Check the Google Ad Map at this link to find the best ad placements for your blog.

Color Matching Your Ads

The worst type of ads are the ones that stick out. How many times can you remember dealing with pop-ups? The first thought that enters your mind is to get rid of them. So you rush your mouse to the X and they’re gone. Now tell me, do you think pop-up ads are very effective? We can learn a great lesson here. Ads that yell out “IM AN AD!!!!” are ineffective. To get the most out of your ads, blend them in with your site.

Follow these rules to match your ads with your website:

1) Ad Title – Match with title of your blog posts

2) Ad Text – Match with text color of your site

3) Url – Match with link colors of your site

4) Border And Background – Match with background of your site

Or, try this combo suggested by successful adsense coach, Joel Comm:

1) Ad Title: Blue (0000FF)

2) Ad Text: Black (000000)

3) Ad Url: Shade Of Grey

4) Border And Background: Blend With Site

There is no “right” color for any blog. Always try different variations. Keep experimenting until you get what works for you. One day, you just may hit the jackpot.

Best Adsense Title Color

According to successful adsense coach Joel Comm, one of the best ad title colors you can choose is blue (#0000FF). For many years, this blue color dominated all ad titles. Throughout time, people viewed ads with the color blue. People recognize blue as an inviting and “clickable” color. In other words, their mindset tells them that blue is meant to be clicked. So if you want to experiment with some different ad title colors, try blue (#0000FF). It may increase your ctr significantly.

Got Blog Topics?

Remember, when you think of a topic, always write it down or else (it may never come back to you). If you’re really serious about blogging, keep a notepad and pen with you at all times. When you think of an idea, write it down. You can always come back to your topic list but your thoughts and ideas can vanish in seconds. This list will always keep you writing new content for your blog. When you are an active writer, you are most likely to think of other topics (so write them down!). Would you rather be looking a blank white piece of paper or one full of ideas and notes? Always remember to make notes when a light bulb turns on. This method will keep you with fresh new ideas on a regular basis.

Environment – A Key To Blogging Success

If you’re an ambitious blogger and plan to achieve way beyond imaginable boundaries with your blog, know that environment plays a big role to your success. Put yourself in a good working environment so you don’t get off task. A library is a great place to work on your blog. Make sure you are comfortable in your working area. Get rid of all distractions such as a cell phone. Clear your surroundings of distractions that interrupt your train of thought. The simpler your environment is, the more efficiently your brain can focus. When you put yourself in a good working environment, you can achieve way beyond your imagination. Just imagine a skinny man weight lifting at home. He has neither the equipment nor as much motivation as he would have in a gym for a year. Now imagine him body building in a gym for a year. He would have made new body builder friends, which means more motivation. He would have all the equipment in the world. This environment is much different than the one at home. His productivity in the gym would be much more greater. If you put yourself in a hardworking environment, such as a library, you can achieve much much more.

Staying On Task And Become Successful

I know that at some time or another, we all get lazy. But if you want to be successful in all aspects of life, you need to be dedicated to your goals and tasks. Consistency in actions is very important. When you break large tasks into smaller ones, you get a sense of accomplishment. Rather than working towards one large task or goal, break it down into smaller objectives. Without that feeling of self-accomplishment, your motivation will be drowned! Without consistency in your work, you will fail to achieve. One way to be consistent is to create a schedule of what you will do and when. I recently discovered (today) Google Calender, a great, easy, and fast way to organize your messy life! You break down your schedule from hour to hour, week to week (Whatever you’d like, it’s up to you!)

Examples Of Breaking Down Big Tasks:

Task 1:
- Paint Room

”Smaller Task 1”:
- Lay Newspapers To Protect Floor
- Get Paint Supplies & Paint Corners
- Paint Walls And Finish Touchups

Task 2:
- Clean Garage

”Smaller Task 2”:
- Clean Garage Cabinets
- Organize Supplies
- Sweep Floor

I hope that gave you an idea of how to break down tasks.

My lesson for today is that the recipe for success is in the consistency of actions. No one can graduate high school in one day. No one can become a doctor in one day. It’s just the same with your goals and tasks!
